When we first opened The Cellar Door, we had no idea where this chapter in our lives would take us.
It’s been an amazing three years. Three years of great music, good friends, and wonderful times. Three years of laughter, goofiness and, of course, delicious wine and beer.
But now it is time to turn the page. A new chapter begins.
With a heavy heart we close the door, both figuratively and literally; The Cellar Door at 109 E.4th Avenue in Mount Dora will close permanently on Wednesday, June 10th. Though we appreciate the wonderful support and good will of our friends and family in Mount Dora, the COVID-19 Pandemic combined with the three month prohibition on social gatherings have exhausted our resources.
But, with adversity comes opportunity. We are moving forward with new ventures; the launch of The Cellar Door Sessions on Facebook has been an unprecidented success, bringing the music of our local musicians to listeners around the world while they were quarantined. And, likewise, musicians from other states and other nations reached out to us to promote and present their talents to you. During that time, many of our customers and friends stepped up and helped support these talented artists.
We are also launching a few more exciting projects…but we’ll tell you about those at a later date.
In the meantime, we are happy to be able to continue to bring you great case deals on your favorite wines. Just let us know at email@example.com.
We will miss all the wonderful nights of music that we were privileged to bring to you from our little stage, but don’t fret: we’ll still bring you live music virtually via The Cellar Door Sessions.
We will miss all the great conversations and laughs. We will miss you.
But we’ll be around.
Thank you for your past and continued support of us, our musicians, and our “vibe.”
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay loving. Stay silly.
